Global & Regional Networks

There are five principle global networks. The WEA is built on the foundation of country and regional alliances of evangelicals. The Lausanne Movement finds it's origins in a vision of global evangelization. And Transform-World, a relatively recent network, is built on a vision of transformation. Faith2Share is a global network seeking to connect the western and majority world church. While it is not Anglican as such, there are many from that tradition involved. Each of these provide collaborative space for geographically defined and issue-specific networks. A listing of regional networks can be found below.
Highlighted are missions related geographic networks.

World Evangelical Alliance

World Evangelical Alliance is a global ministry working with local churches around the world to join in common concern to live and proclaim the Good News of Jesus in their communities. WEA is a network of churches in 129 nations that have each formed an evangelical alliance and over 100 international organizations joining together to give a world-wide identity, voice, and platform to more than 600 million evangelical Christians. Seeking holiness, justice and renewal at every level of society - individual, family, community and culture, God is glorified and the nations of the earth are forever transformed.

Our mission is to enable effective collaborations between mission movements and leaders  – working together globally to share faith and change lives.

The Lausanne Movement

Our story begins with the evangelist Dr Billy Graham. As he started preaching internationally, he developed a passion to ‘unite all evangelicals in the common task of the total evangelization of the world’.
In the 1970s, Billy Graham perceived the need for a global congress to re-frame Christian mission in a world of political, economic, intellectual, and religious upheaval. The church, he believed, had to grasp the ideas and values behind rapid changes in society.

The mission of Transform World 2020 urgently calls the church to consider the critical challenges of our time. We trust that God’s people all over the world will respond to each challenge through informed, cohesive, prayerful action leading to a godly, Spirit-led movement in the spheres of cultural influence they operate in and the geographic area in which they live. The Global Kingdom Partnerships Network (GKPN) is an initiative established with the goal of putting together key Christian leaders from around the world for three major purposes:
  • To be a roundtable of friendship among top Christian leaders.
  • To provide mutual support and accountability for those seated around the table.
  • To provide an environment of trust and mutual learning for leaders entrusted by God with vast influence in their countries and continents.
  • To work together for a legacy of transformation for the glory of God and expansion of God’s kingdom.
