Integral Mission

Integral is a global alliance of 19 Christian relief and development agencies, working together to present a more effective response to poverty worldwide. Integral's goal is to see holistic transformation for more poor people, through providing collaborative opportunities for its Members in the areas of Disaster Management and Collaboration and Innovation.

The Lausanne Integral Mission issue network exists to:

  • Be a voice to guide the church in developing theological and philosophical underpinnings for integral mission.
  • Offer ourselves as a resource for others seeking to practice integral mission.
  • Advocate that the church fulfill the calling to integral mission through deed and proclamation.
  • Gather and make resources, models, and standards available on the Integral Mission issue network webpage.
  • Develop action plans in response to section II.B.3, ‘Christ’s Peace for the Poor and Oppressed’, of The Cape Town Commitment.

Other initiatives from our network include publications on integral mission, regional workshops on understanding and initiating integral mission, and developing regional and national networks.

Micah Network is a global community of Christians (aid / NGO organisations, mission organisations, academic / training institutes, local congregations, networks, alliances, denominational secretariats and individuals) drawn together because of their passion and commitment for integral mission.
The Christian Community Development Association (CCDA) is a network of Christians committed to seeing people and communities wholistically restored. We believe that God wants to restore us not only to right relationship with Himself but also with our own true selves, our families and our communities. Not just spiritually, but emotionally, physically, economically, and socially. Not by offering mercy alone, but by undergirding mercy with justice.
